Hardy lilies (Nymphaea species)are perennials and frost tolerant aquatic plants. These lilies are produced from rhizomes and grow horizontally. They are sweetly fragrant and bloom on, or just above, the water’s surface. Each bloom lasts 3-5 days and opens in the morning and closes in the late afternoon. Give them 5-6 hours of direct sunlight and still pond water. These aquatic plants should be fed every 2-4 weeks from May 1 through September 1. Fertilizer tablets are recommended at 1 tablet per gallon of soil every 2-4 weeks. You will be able to enjoy these lilies year after year.
Hardy lilies are available pink, red, white, yellow, peach and a changeable which starts yellow and changes to copper.

Waterlilies are shipped bare root with foliage. Although we do not guarantee blooms, many of our lilies are shipped with buds.
