Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine Tanks A Novel Blend Containing Pure Evaporated Sea Salt, Essential Electrolytes and Allantoin for Fish Health
Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine Tanks reduces the amount of energy a fish must expend to maintain osmotic balance. In fresh water fish, this energy can be substantial. If your fish is suffering as a result of a nitrite spike (a.k.a. Brown Blood Disease), Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt acts to slow the rate of nitrite uptake - possibly the difference between survival and death. With electrolytes, minerals and Allantoin, which accelerates wound and fin healing, Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine Tanks provides the necessary elements pond fish require to reduce stress and develop a healthy slime coat. Caution - Be especially careful when adding any salt to tanks that contain aquatic plants as salt can have a toxic effect. Before adding salt to your tank, remove any zeolite products. Fish tend to emit excessive amounts of ammonia when salted, so be sure to test your water for ammonia spikes with Microbe-Lift Ammonia Test Strips. Do not overdose. Dosage - Small Tank: ½ cup (120g)
per 10 gal. (38L) of water. For Stress Reduction - 2 tbs. (30g) per 10 gal. · 1 ½ cups (360 g) per 100 gal. Directions - Combine Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine Tanks and pond water in a bucket and then spread the slurry around the perimeter of your tank. Salt-resistant parasites require up to 21-days exposure at 75°F. For stress reduction, use as needed. When changing water, use a salt test kit and add salt to return to 0.3% (1/2 cup per 10 gal. level). Salt will not evaporate from tank and must be removed through water changes. As A Topical Statement: Mix salt with tank water until a thick paste consistency. Use a basting brush to apply directly to excessive slime areas, reddened spots or potential problem areas on head, back or underbelly. Be careful not to get salt into eyes or gills. For Salt Dip: Mix 5 cups of salt into 10 gals. of water. Add fish, one at a time. Watch until fish gasps and begins to turn over. Then scoop fish out with a sock net and immediately place fish into fresh clean water. Estimated duration: 3-5 minutes. Fish should be monitored continuously while in the salt dip and removed immediately at the first sign of stress. |

Microbe-Lift Pond Salt Crystals Will help maintain a healthy pond environment and reduce the threat of parasitic disease in pond water. Microbe-Lift Pond Salt Crystals added to your pond water can be effective in helping to maintain a healthy fish environment and, in proper dosages, has proven to be helpful in reducing the threat of parasitic infestations in the pond. Microbe-Lift Pond Salt Crystals will temporarily block the toxic effects of nitrite , and by initiating the production of a thicker slime coat on the fish's body surface, helps to promote a stronger immune system and reduce stress. Caution - Do not overdose. When adding salt to ponds that contain aquatic plants, be especially careful in monitoring salt concentration as salt can be a toxic effect on certain plants. Before adding salt to your pond, remove any zeolite products being used. Directions - Salt will not evaporate from your pond. After testing your pond water with a hydrometer, you can add salt with your regular water changes. We recommend mixing salt and pond water in a bucket, and then spreading the slurry around the perimeter of your pond. Be careful to avoid direct contact with pond plants. DOSAGE: Small Ponds: ½ (120g) per 10 gal. (38L)
of pond water. For Stress Reduction - Use

Jungle Labs Pond Salt
Jungle introduces pond salt with a "kick." Salt has always been proven to help fight fish disease and reduce stress. Now you can get a salt that does even more! Jungle Fortified Pond Salts also has minerals, electrolytes and allantoin. Allantoin is one of the natural compounds found in the herb, comfrey root. It benefits both fish and aquatic plants:
With the added benefit of allantoin, which promotes
wound healing, tissue repair, and cell regeneration, Fortified Pond
Salts protects fish from minor cuts, scrapes and burns, reducing exposure
to bacterial infection. Fortified Pond Salts stimulates the fish's
slime coat which acts as a natural protective defense against bacteria
and parasites. It also reduces the effects of elevated nitrite levels
(toxic to Koi and Goldfish), a condition often associated with newly
set up ponds, overcrowding and overfeeding. Directions: For Temporary Use as a Parasite Control for Fish (at 0.3% Level): Add one cupful (8U.S. oz/225 g) for each 60 U.S. gallons (230L) of pond water daily for three days. Sprinkle evenly around pond perimeter. Maintain this salt level for 2 - 4 weeks. To return to normal levels, make two 40% water changes one week apart. For temporary Use as a Disease Treatment (at 3.0% Level): Prepare a separate container as a dip, fill with water from pond and add 2.5 pounds (1135 g) of Fortified Pond Salts to 10 U.S. gallons (40L) of water. Place fish in dip for 30 seconds to 10 minutes. Leave in dip until fish rolls over or shows any signs of stress (gasping at surface, rolling, dating, etc.) and place back into the pond. If necessary repeat after 24 hours. |

in koi ponds. Salt is a factor in algae growth, plant health, detoxifying nitrite, and the elimination
of most parasites. Very accurate and easy to use, simply turn it on and dip it into the pond.
Within two seconds, the LCD displays the salt concentration measured in percentage. Ideal for
checking the salt level in fish hospital tanks, koi ponds and tropical fish aquariums. Measures
accurately from .01% to 1%. |
