Provide essential electrolytes fish need to survive with an all-natural
salt, made from evaporated sea water. Improves gill function, protects against nitrite toxicity
& reduces stress by helping to maintain a natural balance of electrolytes in the body fluids
of pond fish. Can safely be used with all PondCare® water conditioners, filtration materials,
medications & fish foods.
| Distribute the pond salt evenly around the perimeter of the pond |
| For Ponds with Plants:
| Add 1 1/4 cups of pond salt per 100 gallons of water |
| For Ponds without Plants:
| Add 2 1/2 cups of
pond salt per 100 gallons of water |
|
For Disease Treatment:
| Short-term salt baths are beneficialto eradicate many external parasite and fungal infections. In a plastic container, dissolve 2 1/2 cups of Pond Salt in 10 gallons of pond water. DO NOT USE TAP WATER. Carefully place the infected fish in the salt bath for 5-10 minutes. Do not leave the fish in the salt bath for more than 10 minutes. Return the fish to the pond. Treatment may be repeated after 24 hours. |
| Important Note:
| Once added to the pond, Pond Salt does not evaporate and is not filtered out. Pond Salt should only be added, as directed, with each water change. Salt levels higher than 0.1% may cause plant damage. |

| Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine
Tanks |
|
A Novel Blend Containing Pure Evaporated Sea Salt,
Essential Electrolytes and Allantoin for Fish Health
Reduces fish stress & the risk
of osmotic shock
Temporarily blocks nitrite toxicity
Helps to promote slime coat
Improves fish gill function
Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine
Tanks reduces the amount of energy a fish must expend to maintain
osmotic balance. In fresh water fish, this energy can be substantial.
If your fish is suffering as a result of a nitrite spike (a.k.a.
Brown Blood Disease), Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt acts to slow
the rate of nitrite uptake - possibly the difference between survival
and death. With electrolytes, minerals and Allantoin, which accelerates
wound and fin healing, Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine
Tanks provides the necessary elements pond fish require to reduce
stress and develop a healthy slime coat.
Caution - Be especially careful when adding
any salt to tanks that contain aquatic plants as salt can have a
toxic effect. Before adding salt to your tank, remove any zeolite
products. Fish tend to emit excessive amounts of ammonia when salted,
so be sure to test your water for ammonia spikes with Microbe-Lift
Ammonia Test Strips. Do not overdose.
|
Directions - Combine Microbe-Lift Therapeutic Salt For Quarantine Tanks
and pond water in a bucket and then spread the slurry around the perimeter of your tank. Salt-resistant
parasites require up to 21-days exposure at 75°F. For stress reduction, use as needed.
When changing water, use a salt test kit and add salt to return to 0.3% (1/2 cup per 10 gal.
level). Salt will not evaporate from tank and must be removed through water changes.
| For Small Ponds:
| ½ (120g) per 10 gal. (38L) of pond water |
| For Large Ponds:
| 5 cups (1.13 kg) per 100 gal. (378L) of pond water |
| For Stress Reduction:
| 2 tbs. (30g) per 10 gal. · 1 ½
cups (360 g) per 100 gal |
| As A Topical Statement:
| Mix salt with tank water until a thick paste
consistency. Use a basting brush to apply directly to excessive slime areas, reddened spots
or potential problem areas on head, back or underbelly. Be careful not to get salt into eyes
or gills. |
| For Salt Dip:
| Mix 5 cups of salt into 10 gals. of
water. Add fish, one at a time. Watch until fish gasps and begins to turn over. Then scoop
fish out with a sock net and immediately place fish into fresh clean water. Estimated duration:
3-5 minutes. Fish should be monitored continuously while in the salt dip and removed immediately
at the first sign of stress. |

Will help maintain a healthy pond environment
and reduce the threat of parasitic disease in pond water.
Microbe-Lift Pond Salt Crystals added to your
pond water can be effective in helping to maintain a healthy fish
environment and, in proper dosages, has proven to be helpful in reducing
the threat of parasitic infestations in the pond.
Microbe-Lift Pond Salt Crystals will temporarily
block the toxic effects of nitrite , and by initiating the production
of a thicker slime coat on the fish's body surface, helps to promote
a stronger immune system and reduce stress.
Caution - Do not overdose. When adding salt
to ponds that contain aquatic plants, be especially careful in monitoring
salt concentration as salt can be a toxic effect on certain plants.
Before adding salt to your pond, remove any zeolite products being
used.
