Ecofix Bacterial Pond Clarifier 16oz (Treats up to 4800 Gallons) - Makes pond water clean and clear. Breaks down dead algae. Increases the concentration of dissolved oxygen in pond water. Helps create a healthy ecosystem for pond fish. Can be used in ponds containing salt.

Treating String Algae:
1) Turn off circulation
2) Apply GreenClean Granular to affected areas-including waterfalls and streams
3) Turn circulation back on after 10-20 minutes

During a Pond Cleaning:
1) Drain pond (remove fish and plants)
2) Apply GreenClean Granular to all surfaces
3) Rinse with water after 10-20 minutes
4) Drain pond
5) Re-fill pond (replace fish and plants after dechlorinating as appropriate)

Treating Green Water Algae:
1) Shock with GreenClean Granular at the high curative rate
2) Treat as needed once per week with GreenClean Granular at the low curative rate in conjunction with water conditioners

Green Clean Granular Algaecide Features:

For use in self-contained ornamental ponds and fountains without any outflow. For small ponds wit heavy algae growth, clean the excess algae off the sides and ornaments before adding ALGAWAY 5.4 . This will reduce the amount of decaying organic matter.

Fountains, Small Ponds with goldfish and koi - Treat only those fountains and ponds which will have no outflow after treatment. High water temperatures cause more rapid natural decay of dead algae which can cause fish distress. If animals are present clean out excess algae as stated above or use before temperature exceeds 75°F (24°C).

CAUTIONS: In ponds, insure that water is well aerated via waterfall, fountain or other method to prevent fish loss. Aeration must be continuous. Not safe for use with snails, shrimp and other crustaceans or mollusks.

Repeat dosage once per week for maintenance.
